Teresa Giudice, a prominent figure from a popular reality television series, has stated that her 20-year-old daughter, Milania Giudice, allegedly had fentanyl in her system. This assertion was reportedly made by the mother during an interaction with law enforcement officers at Tampa International Airport, as documented in recently released body camera footage.
During the airport encounter, Milania was heard responding to her mother's claim, saying, "Cause I was laced ... I go to college." Her sister, Gia, who was also present, reportedly told Milania, "You're reckless."
The specific timeline of the alleged fentanyl exposure, the nature of the substance Milania supposedly received, and the individual or circumstances believed responsible for it have not been clarified.
Airport Confrontation Details
The body camera video commences with Milania requesting to communicate with her mother. An officer instructed Milania to resume her seat and reminded her that she was not in charge of the situation. Milania was then heard shouting, "Hurry up mom! Why don’t you run! You wanted to cause a scene!"
Teresa appeared alongside her daughter, continuing to film the scene within the airport. As they moved toward an elevator, an officer was heard commenting, "This is never gonna go on a plane." The precise reasons behind Milania's temporary detention by authorities at the Florida airport remain undisclosed.
Mother's Statement and Plea for Privacy
Following the public release of the body camera footage, the reality television personality issued an extensive statement on social media. She emphasized the paramount importance of her children's health, safety, and overall well-being. "The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life," she wrote.
Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for. Right now, my only focus is my daughter – making sure she is surrounded by love, family, support, and the care she needs.
Giudice acknowledged that due to her family's public profile, inquiries and speculation are inevitable. However, she underscored that Milania is her daughter first and foremost, a young woman navigating a profoundly challenging and personal period who deserves privacy to heal without public scrutiny of her pain.
I am asking, from one mother to another, and from one family to all of you, to please show Milania compassion and kindness and allow her the privacy she needs right now.
